Welcome to my blog!
My two favourite quotes are “may I exist at ease like the lotus in the muddy water” – Zen Proverb. My other favourite quote is from Alice in Wonderland;
Mad Hatter: Have I gone mad?
Alice: I’m afraid so. You’re entirely bonkers. But I’ll tell you a secret. All the best people are.
In a nutshell, I love to write, I actually can write more easily than speak. Sometimes social awkwardness gets in the way when I speak. What do I write about? I write about life, The joys, challenges and even character building that life brings. I would say I enjoy being creative, I do felting and I am learning the piano. I love to dance and go to Zumba regularly. Health and wellbeing is important to me. I’d consider myself a spiritual person but not religious. Being a busy Mum of four young kids is often infused through my writing.
My main reasons for sharing my writing is to somehow inspire and empower people. I am very passionate about human rights and social justice, although I don’t like to push my views onto people. Having experienced domestic violence, child sexual abuse, anxiety and depression in the past, I feel it is important to support and empower each other. It is so easy to feel insecure but the most beautiful thing is when we are confident in being our true authentic selves. Maybe someone out there will be inspired by what I write about, maybe someone can relate to some of the things I write. There is always someone out there who is thinking, feeling or experiencing the same or similar. There is always some one who resonates. Of course not every one will resonate and that’s ok. I find writing quite enjoyable and therapeutic.
